So, as I mentioned, here is another version of this with 18-months of practice under my belt. There are some timing farts but overall it's getting better, I think. I could probably use a little more mindfulness on the solo and attempt more enclosures and octave displacements but it takes a long time to work those techniques into one's playing...
With rock, I just play and don't think but jazz doesn't work out well for intermediate players if you play like that.
