A Look at the 'Day for Night' Music Festival | With Pictures

Today's music festivals are no longer just about the music. Every year we are met with more and more elaborate art installations and monuments erected on the festival grounds. Show goers dressed in outrageous attire. and hundreds of independent artists showing off and selling their creations. But there’s one festival in particular which is bringing the world of music and artistry together in pure harmony – Houston’s Day for Night music festival.

Exhibits include the works of world renowned creators Ryoki Ikeda, Kyle McDonald, Matthew Schreiber, VT Pro, Cocolab among many other innovative installations, who work lights up the event seamlessly from edge to edge as though the event was to be viewed as a whole, a massive, collaborative unification of every artist and attendee involved.

And lets not forget the incredible musical lineup which included Thom Yorke, Nine Inch Nails, Phantogram, Tyler, The Creator, Pussy Riot, Justice and many more.
