Rob Thomas , Genius songwriter, and friends put Matchbox 20 together in 1995 and released their first Album in 1966 which went on to sell over 12 million Copies!
The Music has been described as Post-Grunge, Alt- Pop Pop punk / Pop rock and all those words Music Journalists think they are so clever for making up?, Who cares?
They have Great , easy on the ear, Radio-Friendly Songs!
I first heard them on the Radio, and liked them straight away !
Chris, My Wife, is a huge fan and to the best of my knowledge has all the albums including Rob Thomas's Solo Albums
Rob also wrote the song Smooth for Carlos Santana's big comeback album ( which became the main featured song on that album!)
They have done a Total of 4 Albums and on March the 27th of 2017 , they announced that they were going to do another Tour!

I agree with you - good radio tunes and I had an hour and a half commute. Deb suggested I listen to Bible tapes, but I was misspending my drive every day - loved the Smooth 1999 Live Video and love Carlos Santana's great guitar work
That particular album of collaborations was seriously good!
I spent this morning doing the sound for a Nursery School Graduation .
Wonderful to watch the little ones perform! they are such total hams.

Yes, easy listening.."users friendly". I am sorry I didnt know them earlier I would have listen to this on my recent drive from Sicily. It was nice sunny fall arround ..this musc would have fit it. But its great I know for the next time!!! Thank you!

It's so funny: whenever there's a new technology introduced, there's always this fear it's going to end entertainment as we know it. When records came around, they were going to be the end of live music. Nobody would ever want to go see live music again.
There's nothing to compare to live music, there just isn't anything.
I know, and I have the tinnitus to prove it!
Rob Thomas is my idol since 2005, he released his record 'Something to Be'. - the song 'Lonely No More'
