I found this song late yesterday afternoon and it brought on the waterworks in an instant.
I've lost count how many times I've listened to it and still it brings tears to my eyes.
Maybe it's because the dream is so close and it was a battle to get here.
I've live through a lot of stuff in my life. I don't talk about them often but sometimes, things like this song will drag them all to the surface it.
I never thought I'd live through to 36 let alone get through to 37, I was touch and go for a few years there and now when I look at my life and see how it all led me to now I've realised to be here now where I'm at...
... For everything I have now, I would do it over, again and again.
Before I get sappy and the tears start flowing, I better stop here and let you listen to this song.
Let me know if it gets you in the feels too.
Here's the lyrics.
You're broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can't find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains
And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
And I'll rise up
High like the waves
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousands times again
For you
For you
For you
For you
When the silence isn't quiet
And it feels like it's getting hard to breathe
And I know you feel like dying
But I promise we'll take the world to its feet
And move mountains
We can walk it out
And move mountains
And I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
I'll rise unafraid
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousand times again
For you
For you
For you
For you
All we need, all we need is hope
And for that we have each other
And for that we have each other
We will rise
We will rise
We will rise, oh oh
We will rise
I'll rise up
I'll rise like the day
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll do it a thousands times again
I'll rise up
I'll like the day
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousands times again
And I'll rise up
High like the waves
I'll rise up
In spite of the ache
I'll rise up
And I'll do it a thousands times again
For you oh oh oh oh oh
For you oh oh oh oh oh
For you oh oh oh oh oh
For you

Well? How'd you go? Tissues?
It also reminded me of the battle it took to get @SteemPh to where it is now and despite of the many challenges, we rose up to see a better and brighter tomorrow.
I've kinda declared 'Rise Up' SteemPh's National Anthem - for now lol
The Yearender was a huge testament to our achievement and this gif says it all.
(Thank you @luvabi for the gif!)
That's my Family right there. Bright, beautiful, big hearted souls every single one of them. To say I got really lucky the day I met these people is an understatement. Someone was looking after me that day.
Also..
Apologies for the "shitpost" lots going on at the moment, with the house and pending inspections I honestly can't think straight I'm an emotional mess. I keep swinging between really happy and excited and nervous at the same time. I just need these inspections ticked off and the deposit finalised so we can look forward to the move with no uncertainty.
I'm hoping to be there when all that happens so I can take better photos to sustain me for a month while were waiting for settlement to be over.
Please keep those well wishes and prayers rolling in.
