Was not going to post today.
As it happened I was over at @steevc's blog checking out his Friday post, and as usual his post and reblogs reactivated me.
Thanks to his reblogging I found @deadspace where he plays the Christmas Number to make any metalhead mellow! Love that crunchy electric guitar render the usual fare with an unusual vibe.
Next was the beautiful DJ mix of @groove-logic [1] - a grime and bass number which I found as soothing as a rich onion soup 😇
All of this music tempted me to upload something in the spirit of the season. This is an old recording when I was attempting to learn the bass. Treat it like a school gathering presentation of one of my favourite carols. For those about to disappear from the interwebs to spend time on the holiday weekend - A very Merry Christmas to you!
The fact that not all friction has disappeared from the ecosystem was evident when trying to listen to groove-logic on 3speak.tv. I tried various ways to make it work but despite logging in, and even connecting to my Hive account, the videos would just not play. I confirmed that it was not a Hive or general dapp issue, as I was able to use the portal itself, and other apps like Vimm were able to play the videos. Finally, out of frustration, I tried my free VPN - lo and behold! it worked !!!) I don't know if it is blocked in India or just by my ISP, but I will need to research why I am getting this issue with 3speak.tv ↩
Nice bass playing. I do like the tone of a bass.
I don't know what network issues would affect 3speak, but it may be that something got blocked. I generally put my videos on 3speak rather than Youtube these days.
