Hello everybody!
Not so long ago I discovered this american songwriter, singer and guitarist who composes some quite interesting music:
It is not the kind of music I'd listen to on my own, but I think it is something very authentic and original.
Annie Clark studied in Berklee college of music, one of the most famous schools in the USA and the world. She has jazz, rock, and maybe some pop influences too. I like her because she is the songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and front-woman of her own band: St. Vincent.
She has been awarded for her alternative music so I wanted to talk about her to share and make her work more visible. As you know, women's contributions in diverse fields of life are always silenced and it couldn't be different in music. But that is why we are here on Steemit, to make the game field of life more fair.
