Rock Star is an American film that was released to the film and music world in 2001, directed by Stephen Herek, with the main actors Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aliston.

Mark Wahlberg, a young fan of a heavy metal band called Steel Dragon, had a band made up of several friends and friends called Blood Pollution, as one of the main themes of a band that only paid tribute to them, this band is called " Steel Dragon ".

Description of the movie

Due to personal problems between the band, their lead singer "Bobby Beers" leaves the band, not only is he the only one who had problems with his band, Mark Walhberg being the character Chris "izzy" Cole, by means of a fight in a presentation of his band with his first guitarist, by desicion of his group, they take him out as the band's vocalist and replace him with his tribute band enemy called Black Babylon.

A day later, through a recording made by several friends of Chris "Izzy" Cole, the protagonist receives a call where he is invited by one of the main members of his favorite band "Steel Dragon" to appear for the next auditions and for part of his talent is as the new lead singer of the band, fulfilling his dream of being part of the biggest band of heavy metal.
following his dream Chris "izzy" lived the best moments of his life going out in big concerts, meeting important musicians and earning a lot of money, in time of fame and glory to Chris "izzy", his girlfriend Emily Poule decides to leave him on his own due to that his occupation was with the band and not to occupy time in a relationship that did not give for more.
Shortly after he realized that money and fame is not everything if you can not do what you really like as a vocalist and is composing your own songs, Chris "Izzy" presented the band some musical lyrics for review but he was made to understand that he only works for the band but has neither voice nor vote to change things.

In a concert near the end of his musical tour, Chris "Izzy" gets a replacement of great talent in the public and it was his chance to leave what he had wanted and dreamed but had not loved as he wanted.

A blow for the band because the voice of the singer Chris "izzy" was the main talent but the band recovered and continued his career working in his own way.

Chris, stops being "izzy" and together with an old friend and partner of his first band Black Babylon, they form a new band called "the verve pipe" with original lyrics and that would start a new musical career.
