We often feel that strange sensation where chance, the unexpected, is putting marks in our path, forcing us to channel life in one direction or another. Some people say that what guides our life is destiny.
Destiny is a force that is above us and that pushes us towards an inevitable succession of events, of circumstances from which we can not escape.
Something like this goes far beyond a simple synchronicity, it means to think that nothing happens by chance, but that we are determined. What does it mean for people to think something like that? Are we then at the mercy of destiny, or are we free to choose our own path?
It is true that sometimes things happen that surprise us: meet someone in a certain place in curious circumstances, that luck that one day appears unexpectedly, that choice we take without knowing very well why ... Is it chance? Or is it perhaps due to a mysterious causality?
It is true that it is highly recommended to have an open mind, a way of thinking in which we do not put locks or obstacles before all the information and stimuli that surround us and we are arriving without rest.
But the question is that if we accept the existence of destiny, we assume that part of what happens to us is marked by design. It is something that completely escapes our understanding and maybe even our own consciousness. So, where are the threads of our responsibility? How to be responsible for something we do not even control?
"Fate does not reign without the secret complicity of instinct and will." Because one's life is not woven in the stars, but in our own reality and day to day, which is putting tests and challenges to prove ourselves as people.
We are free to set our own goals and achieve our own achievements, but chance exists. And sometimes the coincidences are so unique that we can not avoid endowing them with that halo of inexplicable magic. Because people, however rational we may be, have always liked that singular brushwork where they contain all that is strange and inexplicable.
It is true that our lives are sometimes a chaos of coincidences and illogical events, but taking the reins of our own destiny, being owners of our rudder, will allow us to be more responsible.

Somethings are bound to happen, the inevitable situations, but I think everything happens for a reason called destiny. Like the person you met, the job you were fired from just 2 days ago, we can't really explain why those things happened and why they happened to you. Maybe it is preparing you for something greater or to draw your mind to something you are not doing right.
I believe there is a higher power which does control our destiny called God, but He has given us freewill so we control parts of our destiny, some of the things that happens in our lives, we take part in it too.
