(About my Music)
Living with Autism/ADHD and OCD, I like to have "all my fingers in all the pies" as they call it I am a multi-genre/talent artist breathe more passion than I do air.

I am a Self-Taught Scottish Musician and Singer-Songwriter with a passion for all instruments and various different kinds of music, I will get a tune out of Anything that makes a noise!
I have over 150 Original Songs not including my Instrumentals and Cover Songs.

(The tools to Improvise)
I love to improvise and it's my specialty when it comes to music, and many other things in life! I have adapted an ability to play by ear and can rapidly plan ahead during improvisation, by first of all;

  • Knowing the sound and placement of every note on the fretboard corresponding to the key and it's layout.
  • The structure of the scale, it's octaves, where it starts, floats, and finishes.
  • Feel the music! Let it flow!
  • Have passion!
  • Don't be afraid to look stupid!
  • Be yourself!
  • Let go!
    These are just some of my key elements when improvising.

When we understand how to manipulate the strings and sounds in many different ways, it lets us explore the maximum potential movement and experience for each string/note/scale/chord because we have learned how to make different sounds just by moving our fingers in slightly different ways/methods - i.e. hammer-ons, pull-offs, bends, slides, vibrato etc etc.. this gives diversity to the string/sound instead of notes just ringing out like bells.

Mixing up the simplicities and/or complexities of these movements to "Legato" (tied together) forms a melody or solo. This is the fun bit!! :)

My main inspiration for music was my late and great Grandgather who passed away at the age of 72. Around 14 years ago. He was also a prolific autistic musician, and so much more! I definitely take after him.

Being the only redhead in my direct family, it skipped a gene from my Grandad, through my mum, and came to me. And now 2 of my children are redheads. We are quite rare because there are less than 2% redhead/ginger people left in the world. We have rare genetics, hidden talents, and a fiery temper! So don't mess with a Scottish redhead! Whoahh!! Lovely people at heart but when provoked we are Scary MOFO's!!! 😂

Thank you for watching my experimental performance!
