1. Body

The body houses the entire guitar. It is also called the host.

2. Neck

It enables the player to have a good grip when playing the guitar.

3. Head stock

The head stock houses the strings abd hold them firm to the guitar.

4. Strings

The strings are what brings out sounds, they are of different types and sizes, which are string 1,2,3,4,5,6

5. Fret

They are lines used to differentiate between tones.

6. Pegs/tuners

They are adjustable pegs used to loosen or thighten the strings to produce certain sounds.

7. Nut

It is used to hold the six strings in place, so they won't move around.

8. Finger board

The player makes use of the finger board when playing, the hands are placed on them to bring out the required sound.

9. Bridge

It is use to hold firmly the string at the bottom part to the body

Why guitar is regarded as a minor instrument?

Guitar is regarded as a minor instrument because its an instrument that can be used to complement the major ones, which are Drums, keyboard, bass guitar. These 3 instruments must be available in a standard setting, so the minor ones which includes; **Guitar, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.
