RE: We're FINALLY using that Music Station I built a few months back

in #music6 years ago

I find this amazimg and I would love to help you out. I'm a music producer and I've been working in Ableton for some time now and got to know it pretty good.

As for the hardware, I use a midi keyboard and a launchpad. Along with my guitars and a few mics, I find it enough.

Maschine is an amazing instrument (especially for electronic music) and you can do wonders with it. You can basically load it with all the samples you like and play them on loop or as one-shot and change the samples as you're working on your song or playing live. You can also make a lot of effects on it and manipulate the sound samples. It's a beast and it takes sometime to learn how to fully use it.

As for the moog, you can't go wrong with it. One of my dreams is to own any kind of moog synth. I use the minimoog VST for now and I love the sounds it makes. It does a really good job of copying the sound of the analog moog and you might wanna try it first to see if you like it after purchasing an expensive piece of hardware.

Load up you Maschine with samples, sync your Moog with it and see what comes out of it :D
