Sørgelig „Devoted to Nothingness”
I'll write right away that it's not as typical Greek playing as you might think. It is black metal in form and content deeply rooted in the early 90s. It is not a material focused on any innovation or creating new trends. It is 100% black metal in black metal. I am the content. The first thing you can hear is that the album sounds like a live recording. It has a lot of imperfections, the sound sometimes irritates the ears quite painfully, but it adds a dead "climate" to this album. It doesn't disturb the legibility too much, so we can catch a lot of catchy riffs. I don't know if this is the material I'll be returning to regularly. It doesn't change the fact that the next EP by Sørgelig has something in it. "Devoted to Nothingness" is nothing new, nothing revealing, but you can enjoy listening to this album.
