YBN Nahmir
YBN Nahmir is an upcoming rapper from Birmingham, Alabama. He uploaded his first song “Mopsticks” to SoundCloud on September 7, 2016. After two mixtapes, he found major success when “Rubbin Off The Paint” went viral. His hit song can be attributed to the music video published late September 2017 and Chris Brown featuring it on his Instagram.
As of December 1, 2017 “Rubbin Off The Paint” has received over 53 million views on YouTube alone. He recently went on to release a few more singles including “Glizzy Hella Geekin” (our favorite) and “The Race”. Much more is expected from YBN Nahmir with such a “white hot” start.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again
YoungBoy Never Broke Again has forced his way into the spotlight over the last few years. Originally, YoungBoy NBA is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he initially built a local fan base from his hit single “Homicide”. He released a series of mixtapes including Mind of a Menace 1-3, 38 Baby, and Life Before Fame. His most popular mixtape AI YoungBoy featured his breakout hit “Untouchable” gaining him 86 million views on YouTube. Recently, he has partnered with MoneyBagg Yo for a joint mixtape titled “Fed Baby’s” featuring 14 songs. He continues to stay on his hustle working with many popular artists including A Boogie and plans to release more music soon.

Trippie Redd
Trippie Redd is allegedly the oldest person on this list as he reports his age to be 1400 years old. Aside from his years of life experience, he also happens to be a blooming hip-hop artist from Ohio. In his career spanning a few years, he’s released two mixtapes, “A Love Letter To You” 1-2. In the last week, Trippie Redd has partnered up with popular Hip-Hop artist “Rich The Kid” to create the song “Early Morning Trappin” and its music video which already gained 4.5 million views. Trippie’s most popular song with over 19 million views is “Love Scars”. In “Love Scars”, he expresses the pain and love he feels from his past relationships. What makes Trippie unique is the way he expresses his feelings through his tone of voices more than his lyrics. “Fuck Love” is a great example of Trippie’s ability to express emotions through his vocal tone. In this song he performs the chorus where listeners can feel the pain he is expressing. Overall, he is building a nice career for himself with hopefully much more music to come.

Jay Critch
Jay Critch is an upcoming MC who begin posting music on SoundCloud in 2016. His musical success became apparent when “Rich The Kid” (an artist mentioned earlier in this post) signed him to his label “Rich Forever”. Later, he featured on the “Rich Forever 3” mixtape featuring fellow label mates Famous Dex and Rich The Kid. Some of his most popular songs are present on this tape including “Did It Again” and “Read About It”. A few of his top singles are “Red and Blue”, a smooth lyrical rap song and “Fashion” a slower more melody driven song. We’ll keep an eye on Jay Critch as he’s sure to continue releasing music his fans can vibe to.

Dice Soho
Dice Soho is an up and comer from Houston, Texas. He received a large amount of attention in 2015 featuring on “Just Watch” with “Trill Sammy” a fellow Houston hip-hop artist gaining 15 million views on YouTube alone. In 2016, again he parted with “Trill Sammy” and “Slim Thug” (another MC) to release another hit titled “Watch Out Freestyle” receiving 8 million views on YouTube. Recently, he’s released a slew of singles and songs including “Fill It Up” published by “World Star Hip Hop”. From performing and attracting local attention at nine years old to now attracting an audience of millions, he has grown immensely as an artist and still has more room to grow.
