RE: LIVESTREAMING vs LIVE-GIGGING!

in #music3 years ago

Hahahahahaha the perks for online streaming whilst being 'offline' from the crowd seems interesting, but I do wonder if you as an artist/DJ find pleasure in it. I am not a performer or artist of any kind, but do love to go clubbing! Tried the online streaming events when we entered COVID early last year, but stopped after 2 or 3 festival sessions. All nice and all, but the experience is not just the music on home HiFi equipment. For me, it's the experience of music through big speakers, the experience of like-minded peeps around, all having fun with positive vibes, the feel to live in the moment. Sure, some of it we can create at home with some friends, but the real deal is in the fields or the dark underground clubs. Unless VR becomes so real we can't distinguish it from the real world, the real deal is the only way forward for me. Can't wait for Berghain club to be opened. Can't wait fo festivals without any conditions allowed again in my country. Can't wait for the sweaty and stinky clubs to open their doors again. Let us enjoy ourselves together in the real world :)

Thats exactly it! its not just about supplying the music, its the experience as a whole and what you summed up there is something that livestreaming cannot substitute. awesome reply!
