Binaural beats : The music for your brain .

in #music8 years ago (edited)

Binaural beats in general is music created to a specific frequency (Hz) which affects the brain.

This is also called brainwave entertainment because the sound patterns are like waves .

These beats depends on the frequency are :
-Gamma, 30 to 50 Hz
-Beta, 14 to 30 Hz
-Alpha, 8 to 14 Hz
-Theta, 4 to 8 Hz
-Delta, 0.1 to 4 Hz

The names are taken from the Greek alphabet.

You can listen to these kind of "beats" for different reasons : focus, relax, deep sleep, meditation etc. Each one affect the brain in a different way.

If you want to find more about it here are few sources : wikipedia and bebrainfit .

In the video below you can listen to the "focus" one . You can read the video description on youtube for more details.

It may sound to you strange and boring ( and a little "noisy") .
