Relationship with Music

Music has always been a really big passion of mine, or well actually music is a big passion for most of the people on Earth. The reason why I wanted to express my feelings about this topic, is to actually show how versatile life is and how music can affect your life in many ways - or to be more precise again, how music actually affected my life in many ways.

How it all started

I don't exactly remember the first song I heard, but the first bands I correctly remember are Linkin Park and SOAD both of them are deeply inside my heart and there's no way in hell I will ever forget about them. They are the type of music you listen when you feel let down, alone or even angry. Whenever I listen to this I feel calm and relaxed although they have a lot of agressive(?) drum action going on which would make some peoples heart pump 10x faster than the usual.

When I was like ~5 years old (maybe was older, but totally memory wipeout right now haha) I started singing in my local toddles choir and after some time joined the boys choir. I would say I didn't sing like an angel but I didn't sing off beat and I think I took some vocal parts really well, we also performed some Christmas songs at some event and after that event I don't remember actually about any singing "career" and it slowly faded off.

Genres of music

When it comes to different genres of music I'm not the person who criticizes others for the music they listen, if a person likes to listen to some hardcore DnB then let it be, if a person like Beethoven or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart then be my guest, I also listen to all of those songs at least monthly.

If you would have a look at my playlist there's music from all different genres and I listen to all of them - depending on the mood I'm currently at. If I feel sad or lonely, I either listen to some alternative metal (like Linkin Park and SOAD) or some classical music and piano presentations. When I feel like in a party mood I either listen to some Drum n Bass, old estonian party songs, or some hardstyle depending on how hyped do I want to get haha.

I'm the type of person who you can listen any sort of music with and still have a blast.

Nowadays

If we for example take the last 3 work days then I have been listening to the following artists -
Angerfist, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Some estonian artists( Genka, 5Loops, Tommyboy, Põhjamaade Hirm, Toe Tag etc.), Joji, Flatbush Zombies, A$AP, Coldplay, Guns N Roses, Some Trap/DnB artists, Metallica, G-Easy, The Glitch Mob, Limp Bizkit, $UICIDEBOY$ and so on.

Like you can see that the variety is crazy in this one and since I usually listen to my playlist in shuffle mode, that's what I get out of it haha..

When I look back at the younger me, I wish I would've had some friends to create some sort of a garage band of some sort, I'm pretty sure we could've done some wicked things and maybe then I could actually be more musical right now as well. I mean I can sing if I want to, but most of the times I think I sing really good, but what actually comes out is terrible.

Thanks a lot for tuning and sticking in for another story about my life, I will now go and listen to some Serj Tankian.
