I was listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage a few days ago, and I heard this very cool Garage Revival song from Th' Losin Streaks called I Mean You. It's an up tempo guitar song with a 4 chord pattern that is very familiar to Garage Rock fans. There's organ in there too, which adds that 60s Garage flavor.
We have a nice guitar break at the end of the song, so don't miss that!
Also beware of the funky music at the beginning - that's NOT the real song! It's just there to fit in with the story of the video.
This band has been around for some years. This new song is from their new Album from a few months ago called Last House. Four weeks ago their label, Slovenly Recordings, released an Official Video on their YouTube channel.
I Mean You
Here it is!
I said I, I Love You, Oh Yes I do! Woah Baby I do!

Little Boy Blue
This song, I Mean You, reminds me of Little Boy Blue by the Tonto & the Renigades from 1967. This is a real original Garage Rock tune and it is one of my all time favorites. It has the same chord structure as I Mean You, also with guitar and organ. It has an excellent and rather long guitar solo.
I Want You! Yes I do! Little Boy Blue!
Can you dig it? Can you see the similarities in these 2 tunes?
Until next time,
Rock ON!
