On this Thursday morning we are picking tunes from lesser known Blink 182 released music from 2011 (Full length album) & 2012 (EP Release). They have a song about Boxing Day so thought it was fitting for our British peeps on Hive 😂

Just a look into a bands less mainstream success period. I think the issue on the 2011 record was production more than song writing personally but definitely some good songs. I almost feel taking 3 songs from the 2012 EP and replacing the worst 3 from the 2011 full length record would have made a big difference in that record being stronger. There’s some really weak tracks and replacing those would a made it so much better. Hey 1997-2003 Blink has a crazy huge commercial mainstream success run with hit singles on 4 consecutive albums. Not many bands have done that! Also a fact if they hadn’t broken up in 2004 it would have likely been 7 in a row. Even if you don’t like the band. There is no question they were going to continue being a huge band and likely would have had huge commercial success for a couple more albums.
2011 and 2012... all losers.
