Very nice cover. I liked the vocals and the simple but very effective guitar work. It gave the performance a sense of urgency and determination. I have no idea if the lyrics resonate with anything that has happened to you in your life, but it sounded like you connected with them on a personal level and as far as performance goes, that's important. Being genuine might require a little more, but I felt you were feeling what you were singing, too, which again, makes me wonder if you have something your connecting to in the song.
