Wow!!! Dr. Panam Percy Paul is something out of the ordinary. Sincerely, I thought he was just a music minister until last evening. I never known he is a Nigerian until yesterday that I was privilege to be under his teaching life at Jos.
Dr. Panam Percy Paul the great musician
Who is that person that says Nigeria is not blessed, We are blessed with Great people and resources as a country, and I know one day Nigeria will be Great as a Nation, we will get it right.
Did you know he has s i x (6) degrees to his name? As if that was not enough he added six Ph.Ds, I mean s i x (6) Ph.Ds.
But, honestly the degrees were not the highlight of the meeting this evening with him at the Stepping out monthly Seminar. It is his person and the way he shared his wealth with us, his wealth of knowledge, I mean.
For example, Doctors tell you to sleep about eight hours daily but he said and I paraphrase if you sleep eight hours daily from your birth by the time you turn thirty years old, you would have spent ten years of your life sleeping…so even at his age he sleeps three hours daily and has done so since he was five years. There's no excuse. If sleeping has been your hobby before now, it's time to find a new one. Lol!
The atmosphere was lit with humour as he shared, but when he said that even his father legally disowned him at some point because he decided to be a musician some people shouted, “J e s u s !” Then he said it was not easy in the beginning but his vision kept him going. Not his passion, his vision.
Is it his explanation of music Therapy? Or the tour of his life and person that he gave withholding nothing?
In fact, what a way to start a week. And did I mention he is an institute of music ministry and music therapy and a visiting professor to five universities in the U.S.A? A high flier indeed.
Now, if you are on the Plateau, Jos in particular, I strongly recommend you join us next month.
Have a really pleasant week and keeping soaring high.
Wow!!! That's awesome. I'm looking forward to be inspired by the music legend, Dr P P Paul... I'll be at the venue next month by the grace of God.
Wow! That's really inspiring. May God bless us all.
