I've been known to buy CDs, but not often - I always worry I'll lose them. Also tend to find that the CD is never as good as the act. Especially with smaller/newer acts. Solo folk musicians cover themselves in guests and layers, so the spark is lost, while metal bands can't afford a good production. There are of course exceptions to this.
ELO were great - that'll be on here in a month's time (I have a system and there's a queue).
