I've made it no real secret on here how much I like Perc Trax as a label. Just fantastic explorations into the harder side of techno that resists the urge to go crazy fast into hardcore territory. Still though, it's got that heaviness and today while going on a run, this track snuck it's way into my ears. One, the vocal samples are great. Second, the star is this synth line that rips through the track just once and it is thrilling and never repeated again in the track, which then disappoints. It's that surprise though. Like building up for a few minutes just to deliver one punchline. Scalameriya dropped some music here in the past couple of weeks and I can't wait to listen to more of him.
