I normally post this sort of video to youtube, but I guess I'm going full blockchain. I havn't uploaded a video to youtubes in weeks or even on my Illumination Station facebook page. The only instagram posts I've done recently have been of my son or cover art from my dsound releases... Thus is life when the steemit blockchain sucks you in a revs up your creative energies.
This video shows the most fun, and fast part of creating Grass Blade, my most recent Dsound exclusive. The process starts by making the patch on my eurorack and setting up sequences in my various sequencers, this takes a considerable amount of time. Then comes the fun part, playing and recording the patch I just created. The result of this video is two mono tracks and a stereo track that I then spent a few hours mixing and mastering using Ableton and various plugins. The mixed and mastered audio is featured in this video!
