Eurorack Modular Dance Music and a new splash screen

in #music7 years ago

I spent most of tonight working on a six second splash/intro screen. It's my first time trying to make one of these. I used davinci resolve which is a great free editing software. If your trying to make dtube content I'd definitely recommend this although it does crash alot on my computer... so ctrl s is your best friend. I'll be using this intro for awhile until I make something better.

I have attached to my new splash screen a patch I recorded about a month ago. I have mastered the audio for dtube which always helps things sound better. Its always nice to polish up older work. I tend to just create create create, but steemit and dtube have been encouraging me to step up my game to create better content not just more.

I mastered this in ableton. I used an eq followed by three multiband compressors followed by another eq than another multiband compressor, then an expander/exciter then a stereo enhancer and finished up with a limiter. fun times for sure!

thanks again for all you support!

Thanks! Would upvote your comment but I need to recharge :(

Killer, as always. Love the time lapse patching shot. Pretty briliant. FYI you can go back and change the IMG SRC part of the code to link to a full rez image of your thumbnail that you host on imgbb or any other external hosting. I go back and change it after each dsound post as the small thumbnail does no justice to my TOTES SWEET COVER ART = )

Gotta hit you up on the discord and talk modular. Your rig is sweet dude. Well curated, even.

Sweet I’ll try that thumbnail trick next time!

Damn... Modular looks so fun!
I have two Korg volcas and I have been loving the fact that you have all these knobs that all do something with sound. I always get lost in the software on pc. So creating music on a device is easier!

Great jam! :)

It’s a lot fun for sure, it can be a rabbit hole and slightly addictive. I started about three years ago, and got so obsessed that now I work for anmodular company.

Wow! So nice!
:D
I know a girl who was a project maneger at Erica Synths

aaaah the eloquenser! still need one :P

A very handy module indeed. It’s almost too much sequencing power, but that’s impossible
