How to teach a musical instrument?.... What do you know about multiple intelligences? Video 6/9

Multiple Intelligences

Maybe you are familiar with this pedagogical term, maybe you are not. Education is changing and during the last decades some theories have emerged and one of them is Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner.

As a music teacher is necessary to understand how humans learn and how can we relate these with our music students, I find this theory very interesting and necessary to understand and relate to our professional practice.

If you are not a music teacher, but you want to understand how we all learn ...
this theory will help you to understand your own learning and maybe after remembering some school experiences everything will match

This video is part of a course that I have called "How to teach a musical instrument? " This video is the number 6 from 9 and of course, it is dedicated to Multiple Intelligences.

Thanks for watching and let me share with you all about the wonderful world of teaching.

As a musician and an educator I am a huge fan of Howard Garder. His methodology is really how I teach. Great post and thank you.

It is absolutely revealing when we start including activities considering the different types of learning and intelligences that Gardners suggests. Thanks for commenting :)
