I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I too had a great one.
Welcome to "iNUKE tries to write daily - Day 1 : 7 DAYS Wayback music challenge" (well more like inuke write every other day).
Wait but before you judge me hear me out. See you get a chance to visit a wonderful resort with some of the most amazing friends and the love of your life and you had to sacrifice your internet connection for a 36hrs. You wouldn't think twice, right? I did the same, I hopped on with them to the place it turned we headed towards a place 30Kms away from Tambaram. I am using Tambaram as my reference point because I still cannot pronounce or care to google that place as I already got what I want from it. "PEACE OF MIND". Even though the traffic was pretty bad, we ended up having a great time. Except I did screw up something which made my gal to go hyper angry and well I am lucky that I am still alive.. hahaha.
Anyway, what is a road trip without some awesome road songs?
Our official DJ was the friend/sister and she was trying her best to keep us occupied with the music and not on how much time we were losing on the traffic. I mean we were late by 3 hrs to the place but everything was Ok. And in between were the party songs and romantic songs but it felt different whenever the Road trip songs hit the music system.
And none will ever come close to the original song from the Movie which revived the buddy movie genre or say like road trip or outing movie genre like "Dil Chahta Hai" (English Translation - Heart's desire). I mean there are others like "Zindaagi Na milegi dobbara" and the other copy of some Hollywood movie starring Ranbir Kapoor. (Damn it !!!, I am having difficulty remembering names, I mean I remember names of shitty movies too so that I dont fall in that trap again)
So here are few awesome songs from the movie "Dil Chahta Hai", I know the challenge is for one song only but I honestly believe that one song will never be enough. :-)
This two are the romantic song; Has nothing to do with the challenge from the same movie. Hey, I already made it clear. I am not going to play by rules here :-)

DCH is the most Epic movie! SEL really pushed the boundaries of Bollywood music in that movie. I had a cassette and don't know how many times I must have listened to it!
Exactly my thoughts. An epic movie with solid music. It really changed Bollywood to something better and made it stepped out of the DDLJ's era. Thank god it happened. :-)
