This past fall semester, I have had the privilege to student teach at a local high school in New Jersey. And the experience I've had there has shown me what I could do as a music teacher. I loved every single part of it. The students and teachers I worked with were all wonderful and I couldn't be more blessed to have had this chance.
The past 4 months have been some of the most thrilling and pain-staking experience I ever had. I've had the privilege of teaching these wonderful students music and I've watched them grow into fantastic musicians. The faculty, students, and my cooperating teacher have all been more than marvelous to work with and it's going to be a bit hard to leave. But they taught me a lot about who I am as a musician and who I want to be as a teacher.
This video of me conducting one of the concert band pieces is the culmination of hard work and lots of lesson planning. I was so blessed with my Clinical Experience placement this semester!
WATCH MY CONDUCTING AT 24:26!! The piece we performed is called Cowboy Christmas by Jeff Simmons.
Very impresive @jaimusic!
Looking forward to more of your work :)
