I remember the days of Columbia House. And I, too, lived in a rural area where newer music didn't come out our way for months. So, when I visited metropolitan areas, like Atlanta, and would hear the "newer" music, I would thumb through the Columbia House catalog like mad searching for that album. Do you remember their competitor BMG?

yeah, i scammed albums from them too. You didn't have to pay the shipping and handling until you already received the stuff sooooo....
Hahahaha! I can't believe how much technology has changed over the years to go from that to being able to listening to music from all over the world now. I remember as a last ditch effort, Columbia House was doing the DVD thing before bankruptcy. Bad choice on their part in my eyes.
