Ah, so, sounds like you want a Grand Piano?
Other than the "user interface," I'm quite happy with my Casio Privia that I've had for almost ten years now...
It has "real" piano keys that fight back when I press them. They are velocity and pressure sensitive. It is sort of portable, though a full 88 keys, has Grand Piano sound, and was very reasonably priced...
Wouldn't hurt to get one "until." ;)
