I spent almost all of yesterday tracking and editing this new cover of Iron and Wine's "Boy With A Coin" from the album "The Shepherd's Dog", I hope you enjoy it! If you haven't heard The Shepherd's Dog, I would highly recommend giving it a listen, it's quintessential indie-folk (in my humble opinion). Any Iron and Wine album could fit in that category, honestly.
Lyrics:
A boy with a coin he found in the weeds
With bullets and pages of trade magazines
Close to a car that flipped on the turn
When God left the ground to circle the world
A girl with a bird she found in the snow
Then flew up her gown and that's how she knows
That God made her eyes for crying at birth
Then left the ground to circle the Earth
A boy with a coin he crammed in his jeans
Then making a wish he tossed in the sea
Walked to a town that all of us burn
When God left the ground to circle the world

Oh wow. You did an amazing cover. Great job of mixing in the elements and making it whole. Creative!
Thanks very much @iseeyouvee <3
All I can say is Wow. You really have an understanding on how to use the technology to become a one man show. Was it difficult syncing all of the videos together?
Thanks much, @practicalthought! Not really, I just recorded them all similarly and synced them up with the audio... Probably took 30 minutes? Thanks for listening :)
Awesome split screen video. You and your three clones did a great job. If you guys want to stand out in the future, try wearing different shirts though.
And your musical skills are really something.
I really like Iron and Wine. Although it is the type of band that I forget about every now and then.
Keep up the good work, buddy. What you do is definitely worth sharing.
P.S. I'm not sure if you're receiving any mentions but you should check this out. You would be an awesome addition to that group:
Calling all Musicians-Get Your Songs on the (Discord) Radio
Haha, shirt note taken :) And thank you so much for the kind words once again! I actually am a part of the MSP Waves discord, but haven't gotten involved with the radio show yet - I'll be looking into it soon. Much love!!
Awesome and you're welcome :>)
