This is a good idea, even anyone can join. I've had several discussions with some producers on the possibilities (and limitations) of open-sourcing music processes and stuff like this on this platform.
But I think opening up music production for anyone to learn and participate is great. One limitation is that unlike text and visuals, there really is no way to "fast-forward" music curation, and it certainly takes a little more time. A good format needs to be developed!

Yeah, one of the the things needed for such a challenge is some thought into the format. That is why I haven't started it. It needs some thought, discussion, and polishing.
There are some platform for realtime music colaboration like Ohm studio, I think. Never tried it though. But doing-remixing and posting is pretty straight forward, and we can even bring more people over here in the process perhaps.
