For those Millennials who like to think they miss early 90’s

Northern Ireland’s new school talent Ejeca joined the forces of Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two label to release the newest ’The Crystal Maze’ EP. As you we can clearly see it from the cover, Ejeca is keep on referring to darker energies of modern underground scene, combining acid house and rave-revival motifs with the cutting-edge digital production.

Opening track ‘Unloving’ is a real banger with finest party house stubby chords although Paul Woolford with his following 'Special Request Remix' adds even more intensity and old-school sleaziness compared to the original version. ‘Standard Acid House Track’ perform some classy 303 basslines and breaks, but the composition itself is obviously exploring the domains of strobing techno rather than the legacy of early 90’s acid house, which isn’t really bad. Anyways, we have here a good, intense record for all the house- and techno-heads who like to mind themselves as ‘(a bit) retrogrades’.

’The Crystal Maze’ is released on 12’’ vinyl & digitally on October 12th. So you can preview and order it.
