I think the most impressive aspect of Korean culture is the coexistance of old and new. Since Korea had been developed In a very short period, one can easily find old-fashioned traces anywhere. I mean, both physically(i.e. conventional market, undeveloped roads) and mentally. Elders tend to stick to the old Confucian culture, and young people tend to enjoy individualism and Western culture. Conflicts and harmony between the two are revealed throughout the culture.
If you come to Korea, please visit either Seoul or Gyeongju. You can see the harmony of old and new! Thanks for reading this :)
