It was pretty scary, watching so many patients test positive for covid. Luckily, I never really fell sick. I had a cold once during that time, so I self-isolated.
Same situation! My mum's a nurse as well, and during the think of it, doctors in her unit were dropping like flies. It's still amazing how one microscopic organism can send the world into lockdown.
And yes, I miss the freedom I had during those times 😂. Less work, more cooking.
Definitely. And it's hard to explain to people who don't work in the medical industry and insist on wearing tinfoil hats instead of masks.... If you catch my drift. Anyway. This pandemic brought out the worst in some people but the best in others. I'm kinder and more considerate than I was. And that's more important than anything else to me.
