Another Zelda track!
This is (as of now) our favorite track. It has everything, fast guitar, slow guitar, orchestra stuff, and explosions. Yes, explosions. And sub-bass. Can't forget sub-bass.
Anyways, this song's origins go back to 1998. (a year after Rokyt was born!) With the release of another Zelda game, Ocarina of Time, the world was rocked with another amazing video game sound track that would be loved for many ages to come.
This track takes you down to the desert. You'l get an almost lonely/open/airy vibe when listening to this. The goal was to make it sound as big as it could be whilst keeping a very heavy emphasis on open tone.
We also made the conscious decision of making the lead guitar alot louder, and more pronounced, as opposed to the other tracks. We thought of the lead guitar as the "voice" of the song, and we really wanted it to be distinctly heard, as it can ALMOST get lost in our other tracks, as we wanted emphases on all the instruments.
Rokyt: Guitar, Bass, Violin, Cello, Vocals, Mixing
CrashBeat: Drums, Mixing
ScaleShot: Keyboard, Piano, Mixing
We do not own the rights to Ocarina of Time or Gerudo Valley This is merely a cover, and a tribute.
