How well do your strings last when it's hot? I don't change mine as often as I should. I've used the coated ones
@steevc Well, for me it doesn't matter LOL. I break strings A LOT. I have been using 11's for a while now ...still breaking them a lot. No matter if it's hot, cold, strat, tele, Les Paul ...strings do not like me 😆
Sweat will exhaust your strings way quicker, not to mention (bass) of the detuning.. What I always do is, after playing, clean the strings trough and through, But you almost cant avoind getting skinflakes between the winding... But you can extend the life great with good cleaning..
@verhp11 Yep, but I break strings very often - no matter what I do. Using 11's does not make a difference either LOL. It's just all part of what I have to do now ...be prepared. At least on a Tele, I can play without having to fight with the guitar for the rest of the song :-)
Well start your work on the track and dont worry about summer its part of life.
@techxegama Yes indeed :-)
Agh 104! I don’t think Ive ever had a gig in that kinda heat, but I do like to set up a fan when I can... such a diva 💁🏼♀️
One of those round fans that you can point up would be great. I'll have to experiment, and see if we pick up any extra electricity buzz etc.@kjablonski I have had a few hot solo gigs here, and the band has had a few as well. Fan? Great idea! :-)

@shello Yes, indeed. :-) We wont get consistent 8-'s here till October. :-)
