I'm far from the only musician who's lost tons of material to technological disasters, and I won't cry victim here, but somehow I thought I would remember my writings, my songs and turns out that I've forgotten so many by now.
My wife began making space in her email a few days ago, attempting to clean one's digital footprint is no small task, but in her case she could not delay this anymore.
As she was combing through her eaten up space, she started finding demos I had sent her when we first started dating back in 2012, and she forwarded them to me before deleting the file.
I'm attempting to remember who I was when I wrote it, but I find the man singing the song to be a bit of a stranger if I'm honest.
I decided to upload it to soundcloud this morning, with the idea of planting a seed out there, maybe my younger brother will agree to produce the song with me, for old time's sake.
Hey that's great! The production is pretty good. How old were you then? I only got into recording fairly late in life and still have a lot to learn.

I was 31 or so when I recorded that, I'm 44 right now... so, maybe some high notes need to come down a bit if I give it another go!
hahahah
Recording is a world of its own, one never stops learning.
