What do you think of this cover of a famous Guns N' Roses song with ethnic Indian flavour?

Two Indian rock musicians , namely Girish Pradhan from the band "Girish and the Chronicles" and Baiju Dharmajan (Ex motherjane) came up with an acoustic version of the song "Sweet Child of Mine" by one of the most famous and notorious hard rock band of the last century. Now for those of you who don't listen to rock, or have no idea who Guns N' Roses (GNR ) is, I am sure, you have heard this epic song(or the starting riff) at least once in your life somewhere, maybe radio or in the marketplace. That is how iconic the song is.

Now many musicians or bands have made covers of the song , but what is unique about this one is it's unique indian Flavour. Baiju Dharmajan, is famous for his Carnatic Classical infused guitar solos with is previous band, one of the finest prog rock act from India called 'Motherjane'. One of the best part of the song is the guitar solo(both the original and the cover), and here Baiju made the Slash's part more ethnic and Indian sounding by using of Carnatic classical scales( Carnatic classical is a different genre from usual classical music people in the west listen from artists like Ravishankar).

Basically the song is a blending of both cultures. It sounds different and unique. Please enjoy the song now.

Here is the original song by Guns n' Roses

Also if you have time , check this song by Baiju Dharmajan's(Guitarist) previous band motherjane
