President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union address on Tuesday night (Jan. 30) and shortly after, Chris Brown had a few things to get off his chest and delivered his own message on his new song "State Of The Union."

Gentle guitar strums and a hushed piano pervade the throwback, slow-burning ballad, which is a sample of Goapele's 2001 R&B cut "Closer." On the optimistic, emotive track Chris sings, "But everybody hating, where the love at?/ If I give it to you, will you give the love back?/ Ooh, it's time for everybody to level up and settle up your problems/ Just go ahead and let God in 'cause he got us."
Brown recently teamed up with Remy Ma for "Melanin Magic" off Remy's upcoming album Seven Winter & Six Summers. Following the success of his double-album Heartbreak On A Full Moon, Brown has already teased a few projects he has on the horizon, including a joint project with Jacquees.
