Disco left a vacuum which was quickly filled by more minimal and distinctly electronic-sounding styles of dance music. Synthesizers were now affordable enough for many people to experiment with and this laid the foundation for every permutation of modern day EDM.
While dance tracks with full vocals are almost unheard of today (short samples aside), during the 80s "instrumentals" weren't that popular. It had to be a song.
The tune below is an absolute house classic which I've known for 32 years, but never knew that an actual music video was produced.
I felt like listening to the song and was introduced to the flair and presence of vocalist Darryl Pandy when the first result was this gem:

Yep, there were of course many imitations, but as far as I know, this is a Farley Keith original. It's the version that I had on two vinyls.
