King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard live in Belgium in 2016. It's nearly five years old at this point, but that doesn't mean anything. Time flies when you're having a good time.
They use some vocal effects live that make their vocals sound similar to the recordings. At first, it seemed a little odd and almost annoying. Then, my ears adjusted and I dove in, and this is a great recording of a band with many members and many effects.
They have lights and visuals that enhance the performance a little bit if you watch it as well. You can just listen to this one and it's still enjoyable. I listen to music on YouTube all the time. I don't use Spotify or anything real popular like that, I use YouTube Music. Mostly because I already pay for YouTube Premium because I hate ads and love giving money to Google. That's sarcasm, if you couldn't tell.
If you've got the day off and you're looking for some great music to listen to while you're hitting your bong or joint or whatever, check this out. There's even some flute playing! I know that doesn't sound appealing, but it's cooler than it seems on the surface. If Lizzo can do it, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard can. You know what they should do if they're ever on the same fest or something? Play together and be King Gizzard & The Lizzo Wizard, and she can play the flute parts and improvise a little bit.
