Back in 2000 just before the arrival of seriously usable MP3 players and with a raft of other music media available such as: CD's, Tapes etc we were pretty much glued to the notion that someone else would decide which songs would chart and how we would listen to them. Going around to your mates house to watch a music video on MTV was a massive privilege as was getting tickets to see your favourite band live etc.
Around the beginning of the 2010's shortly after the massive financial meltdown people started thinking about the purpose of the current financial system and indeed the purpose of everything in its current state. Millenials, most of whom had degrees started to ponder the bigger questions such as: What is the purpose of money? Should we abolish it? Why are we controlled by other people in the internet sphere? Are we being forced to consume content on the internet against our will? These questions became more extensive and the voices grew louder as the decade progressed. Then there was Bitcoin. We remember hearing about it around 2012 when people were talking about it as an investment, a sort of cool way of doing money on the fringes of society. It was really underground back then and very few people were interested. In fact, with the arrival of Ethereum in 2016 people were still pretty much oblivious to the fact that the Crypto sphere even existed and more importantly, completely underestimated the effect it would have in the medium term.
Of course, 2017 was the breakout year for Crypto with the marketing hitting nearly $1 trillion around December 2017 / January 2018 period with institutional investors and anyone worth their metal getting involved. This in turn spawned an array of side entities and the entire Crypto economy is worth trillions including support companies, service entities etc which support the blockchain sphere.
Music has witnessed a seismic shift in the way that it is now consumed with the powerful platform MUSICOIN. Musicoin has completely changed the way that we interact with music. More importantly however, Musicoin pays musicians fairly and transparently, something the previous music industry model consistently failed to do. In fact, musicians have lost hundreds of millions of dollars because of errors in the reporting, collections and management of royalties by multiple rights agencies around world which is a total disgrace. Musicoin has fixed this problem by using a transparent system which pays musicians fairly and securely using the Ethereum blockchain. We predict that with the mass migration of musicians to Musicoin over the next few years Musicoin will be worth billions of dollars.
The Crypto music revolution has begun, hold on tight....
