Paige's Playlist, May 13 2020: "You Will Be Loved No Matter Where You Go" by Trains on Perry St.
This is a much more simplistic track than my typical fare, with just a single acoustic guitar and sparse vocals, but it is a wonderful mood song that is beautiful on the ears. Similar to "Midnight Train" from yesterday, "You Will Be Loved" is great late-night driving music, and the music video reflects this by simply being footage of a car ride. Yet, the instrumental, while following a melody throughout its length, changes enough over its course to provide variety while still keeping a sense of familiarity that makes this song have a pleasantly nostalgic quality to it that I love. All of Trains on Perry St.'s first album, named after this song, is great for similar reasons. It's ambient "experimental folk" that carries quite a bit of warmth.
