People get ready re-arranged for two guitars and blues-harp.
Record and produce this song has been a real challenge.
It's difficult to re-create the same "live-environment" with a 3 minutes video.
All over it is difficult to open a door in within youtube and/or internet population unless we offer something different.
The web is full of music from every part of the world and unfortunately after the 1990 music changed.
The sound is all the same no matter where the hell will I produce a song, New England, Canada or Italy the result is identical. Each single recording studio on earth use the same plugins, everywhere on the entire fucking planet.
I found it very boring so I decided to make an effort to offer a different product, something "REAL"
Infact I record on a Linux audio environment, using Ardour or Audacity
My aim is to reach a strong competence in "ambient-music" I try to give to the listener a sparkle of "diversity" in a homogenous music-universe. Quoting Wikipedia; Ambient music is a genre of music that puts an emphasis on tone and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. Ambient music is said to evoke an "atmospheric", "visual", or "unobtrusive" quality
Next project will be more on "live effect" as live as possible :)
I wrote a song for two guitars and voice, the title is "Cartoline da Callisto" a fucking trip, the visual impact is fantastic.
For live projects, I would like to get the two guitars directly in the mixer via cable and send the voice to another channel.
In fact, creating two separate channels in stereo will change the perception of the sound all over if it's a "live-performance".
Imagine listening to this song in a theatre, the two guitars working on two different channels in stereo and the blues-harp with the voice in the middle. It's a buzz!
Some other artists have the idea of play two/three instruments at the same time such as Stricagnoli for example,
but the voice man.....
the voice makes the difference.
Once you are able to reproduce such a "pure" sound...
well... it's a fucking thrill, so enjoy this work.
