Aaaand so it begins - an overview of the tracks (you don't see all of them on the screenshot), with a structure of what is already done and what yet needs to be done. Actually, far more is done than what you can see, I just need it to fill it out :)
The Strategy: 3 EPs + Singles = Album
I've gone back and forth between the idea of releasing a single, an EP and an album... and eventually, I've settled on an album that will be released in 3 parts (EPs) and each will have a single to go along with it!
Why? Because these days, people consume music in bites. You need to build a momentum with your fans by feeding them a little bit of your goodies at a time. You know the whole attention span adage! If you dump everything on them at the same time, you lose precious material that could help you build a momentum that will help you keep going.
Good ol' John Mayer has done it, so I figured if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me ;)
Anyway, I'll be sharing previews of my tracks here with you as things progress. Some of you have already heard demos of them, but things have evolved and new material has been written. So stay tuned and thanks for you support!

I'm with you on this. Dropped an album recently and some great tracks, that could easily be singles are being overlooked :-(
It's ok, it's a learning process for all of us ;) Hey, you can still release them as singles - make a story around them, make a video for each... why not?
