I started playing the drums in the farm when I was a kid. Because my mum and dad do go farm. It's really fascinating when my mum told me about things I did when I was a kid. I kept growing with the gift I started learning drums gradually in church without a tutor. It was indeed horrible playing what you don't understanding the whole concept of drums. I kept pushing on at college.
I constructed a local drum set so that when I come back from school each day I do some playing and rehearsals.
My drum set was made up of: A gallon as the base drum, snare drum, hi-hat as waste beverages of container etc. My drum kick was really amazing 🙂🎯
But it was producing that same sound.
I really loved my concept then. So suddenly I fell in love with the piano.
The interesting part of this whole transitions I was not taught by a tutor and it was never related to what I am studying in school. Music wasn't taught in the school I attended but I loved music.
My piano story started 2014. It was really difficult learning the piano without a tutor. I never had access to Smartphone then. No YouTube no tutor just messing around the piano. Furthermore, I progressed for every bit of note I touched they were sounding off to my hearing because I had no foundational knowledge about it. But I was gaining momentum.
In the year 2017, I meant a pianist who gave me the rudiment in playing the organ or piano. I was really happy that very day because it was new phase of life
And since then I have been growing massively. I started singing from there.
The first Crusade program I attended I was shy and freightened because I have not witnessed such crowd before.
The overwhelming part of this whole story is I love the piano now more than the drums it's something that can never be taking from me. It's part of me and it gives me joy.
When I am saddened I run to my piano and it revives me.
That's brief on my music life.
