i dont even notice 8-bit samples in tik tok and ayo technology til now lol. this 8-bit wont die, cuz who doesnt love tetris remix hehe. my first game i played on computer was 8 -bit shooting helicopter, cant even remember the name.
I feel like there were more than a few RNB tunes that came out around the same time as "Ayo Technology" that made use of 8 bit sounds.
It is weird because they are very unnatural sounds, but because of their lasting impact on the video game industry 8-bit sound have found themselves in all sorts of genres of music!
Definitely. @thediscocat, it's used in music every day... It just has that classic nostalgic sound that people really like now.
I enjoyed from a post after a long time lol ! thanks
Thanks @steeminator3000 It brings me back to Pokémon Red on gameboy.
It is, actually ironically on my composing rig I have a virtual instrument called the magical 8-bit plugin! @doodlebear.
