Nice post. The “skeptic’s guide” was a fun read, and I liked that Cone ended with a relatively optimistic outlook for the future of digital art. I agree with you, however, about the present situation for music. Very non-rock. All this clamoring for a shekel has always been non-rock.

Thanks. Yes, Cone makes some good points. What it boils down to for me is that music wants to be free ✌️ when you go back 20 years and read about the MP3 revolution it's also this big digital movement, but with an almost opposite world view of what we see today.
