Sometimes i'm just in the mood to relax and make some chilled out sounds. In this video i've cracked out VPS Avenger and really made those filters work their magic.
In the left instance, when that line reaches the top it's widening the low cut on the filter to let all the brighter sounds through whilst and LFO jigs it around a little, and also boosting the reverb and delay before coming back down and repeating.
The instance on the right is playing the bright arp sequence with a touch of delay and panning modulation.
The metallic percussion you hear is actually just a very simple kick ran through some not so simple modulated FX.
