Little Boy and his Idol (About the paradigm of a guitarist)

in #music7 years ago

Do you remember when you were about 5 or 6 years old? Often we are asked like, "Tomorrow when will great be what?" Whether it's from our family or maybe our teachers at school or maybe neighbors around us. The answer certainly varies depending on what is warmer in our heads or the people who captivate our view but I do not think anyone replied, "I want to be a terrorist!" Or "I want to be PLAYBOY" ... hahaha ...

According to Piaget the human thought process is divided into 4 periods, the age of 5 or 6 years is in the Pre Operation period where the child thinks not based on a logical decision but based on the decision that can be seen instantly. Children are also attached to direct contact with their environment. That is the reason why he mentioned wanting to "be like" depends on what is ngetrend at the time
.
Over time, of course, the more we can realize and speak in accordance with the fact that there is and may be with views and analysis that may confuse many people no longer based on imagination like when we were 5 years earlier. Next comes the question of whether it is true now the answer to the question that has been asked has been answered at this time? Of course who ever answered "Want to be an astronaut or a scientist" can not be realized right? Well, what to do with the past? Is there a connection? Let's see.

The relationship of imagination with rational thinking

I tried to reflect on this. Childhood is usually filled with a very strong imagination or even imagination that dominates our mind, we can say we do not have a rational mind about all that is around us. We accept all these without filters, so do not be surprised if there is a case of a child who died for imitating the smackdown scene he saw. They do not distinguish what is good or bad.

As time passes and we are also faced with the school bench make our mind and imagination more focused and our imagination mixes with the facts and logic we receive from either school, home environment or association with our friends. Furthermore, each of our words is based on reality unless you like to lie.

That means sometimes our words must be explained and accounted for. In this case it does not mean our imagination is lost by the earth, it is just settled or frozen because it is rarely used because there is no gap to exit or because we are dominated by the left brain which is usually associated with logic alone.

Beyond the Idol

Actually what I want to convey is how to see the views of some people, especially novice guitarist about this. Maybe we often hear their phrases like children's expressions, "I want to like ... (their idol name)". Paradigm like this is a natural thing for any beginner, even professional guitarists are still there kok who think like this. Is this wrong? Of course not. Everyone goes their way. What do I want to say here?

NO then claims that people who have childlike assumptions are not like that. Albert Einstein once said, "Be like a child because by being a child the power of our imagination is limitless". But there are other important things I want to add here, when you say, "I want to be like ..." then you have to plant in you that "I will definitely be with him!" This is important, why?

The meaning of affirmation

An important affirmation is planted within us that we do not stop at one point. Perhaps this has been overlooked by our attention or perhaps our minds are still confined in the safe zone because it may also have the assumption that the music played is not thought of. The reason of the points I mentioned above is that if we already have a competitive soul then we will try harder to "surpass" the idol. Of course in relation to those relating to the positive meaning, compete in a healthy way.

I remembered Naruto's words, "I want to be Hokage beyond my predecessors!" A strong affirmation to try harder to get past his predecessor.

Such affirmations will indirectly guide us. Remember there is a saying, "If there is a will there is a way" and another proverb says "Many roads lead to Rome" even though arriving in Rome, it takes a while but essentially if we already have targets in such a way. The next problem is how we maximize our beliefs into reality in the future. So keep your childhood imagination plus the intent and effort in our day. No doubt tomorrow some of us transcend our predecessors.

The conclusion of all this is to keep the imagination like a child and use it not just because "Want to like" but also "Want to go beyond" our idol. The first step is to start developing all the potential that we have

Greetings guitarist! Jrenggggg !!!!!!!!!!!!!
